As is customary, we’ll be kicking off the new season of league play with another great party. Our friends at Jackbar will host and offer up their fine pinball collection and delicious libations. The event will mark the start of the 10th season of league play and celebrate the wonderful resurgence that pinball is experiencing throughout the city. If you are already on a team, then this party will give you an opportunity to mix with your opponents and size up the competition. If you are not on a team, then this is a great opportunity to meet and join a team. Everyone is welcome, so invite your friends and neighbors!
To mark our tenth season we will be celebrating the founding members that helped make Pinball NYC a reality. Any player who was a part of one of the original 5 teams, regardless of whether or not they are still a part of the league, is invited to compete in a Brackelope tournament that will be run during the party. The tournament will be open to 12 players, and if we don’t have enough of our original players on hand (many have moved, after all), then we will start pulling from season two members, and then season three, if necessary. Competition will start at 9PM, and it will be FREE to enter — I’ll take care of the prizes.
