All rules decisions will be made by the tournament director according to PAPA/IFPA tournament rules: https://www.ifpapinball.com/rules/. Because I will be directing my first tournament and organizing an event, I don’t think I will play in the main tournament, but I may try to enter the side tournament. If I choose to play in either, I will deputize another tournament director present to make decisions as my proxy to make rulings while I’m playing and to make rulings on my own games.
All players will be asked to recognize that this event is designed to promote peace. Aggressive behavior will be unwelcome. Frustration is real and no one is immune, but as the purpose of the event is to promote peaceful actions and thinking, a peaceful demeanor will be appreciated. Any player exhibiting aggression toward pinball machines, the space or other humans may be disqualified from the tournament and/or removed from the venue at the discretion of the tournament director or the bar staff without warning or notice.
