On Friday, September 6th, come join us as we celebrate the start of another great season of the Pinball NYC Team League. With six seasons behind us, the league has grown to be a hugely popular weekly diversion for casual and die hard pinheads alike. As we do at the start of every season, we’re throwing a party to bring the community together in solidarity before we start bashing heads during competition. This time around, however, we’re kicking it up several notches. First off, the Southern bred, Brooklyn based, musical comedy duo Reformed Whores will be serenading us with songs about everything from venereal diseases to drunk dialing with sweet harmonies and old-timey wit. These incredibly smart and hilarious ladies are an absolute treat and should not be missed. We’ll also have the big screen set up for the WORLD PREMIERE of Replay: Pinball’s Renaissance, a short film by our very own Matt Lenz! This film focuses on the New York City pinball scene, so we figured this would be a good time and place to premiere it. Late in the evening we’ll be welcoming the Brooklyn indie group Forget It. Goodbye. to our stage. To close out the night 8-bit DJ Beta Club Field Trip will be providing the entertainment. Finally, thanks to some generous donations from our very own Max Pinball, we’ll have a few goodies to raffle off to the party-goers. Everyone is welcome, so round up your friends and grab your partners as this promises to be ONE GOOD BALL!
