Project Pinball Charity Tournament

Francesco and Koi are hosting a charity pinball tournament at Jackbar, with all proceeds going to Project Pinball. The Main Tournament will be a 4 strike elimination tournament managed by the wonderful Brackelope App. Players will be paired and play a best two-out-of-three on a single machine. The losing player will get a single strike against him/her. When paired players each have 2 or more strikes, then they will play a single game rather than 2 out of 3. Once you receive 4 strikes, you are eliminated from the tournament. Competition starts at 2PM.

The side tournament will be a high score competition on a single machine, most likely Wizard of Oz. Scoring will start at 1PM and close at 10PM. Each attempt at the high score will cost $3, and all of the proceeds will go to Project Pinball.

• Main tournament will cost $10, and each attempt in the side tournament will cost $3. All of the money will go to Project Pinball.
• Prizes will be given to the winners.
• All games will be on Coin-drop.
• The main tournament is considered an “Annual” IFPA tournament and will carry full value IFPA WPPR points.
• Side tournament will be worth half value IFPA WPPR points.
• Extra balls will not be played
• Tilting your opponent will result in a one ball penalty for the offender. If this happens on the player’s last ball, then 33% of the offender’s final score will be deducted.
• Slam Tilts will result in an automatic loss in the game.
• “Bang backs” and “death saves” are not allowed.
• Stuck balls will be remedied on the spot.
• Players should play through if a feature or light fails on the machine.
• If a machine breaks beyond repair then the players will play an alternate machine.
• If a machine resets, then all players will repeat the game
• Tournament Directors will make final decisions
