On Monday, October 16, we will be throwing a very special party to mark the mid-season point of Season 15 of the Pinball NYC league. Yes, there will be pinball, the usual gathering of NY’s fine pinball community, and a friendly pinball competition with fun prizes, but this time we will be celebrating at Solid State, the city’s newest pinball bar. This is a very special occasion for me, as Solid State is my labor of love, and I am thrilled to be sharing it with the Pinball NYC community for the first time.
As you all know, I am a HUGE fan of this humble game called pinball. What you may not know, is that I am also a huge fan of beer. Solid State is a more than three year culmination of my attempt to marry these two loves and share it with others. We have 20 beer lines, all featuring NY city and state beers and ciders, plus a full bar and cocktail menu. Our pinball lineup features seven machines, four of which are not currently on location anywhere else in the city. Our beer lineup will be rotating, and so will our pinball machine lineup. We’re just getting started, and I am super excited about this journey ahead.
