The Silverball Museum in Asbury Park will is hosting a pinball tournament this summer, with proceeds going to Project Pinball. The Main Tournament will be a 4 strike elimination tournament played exclusively on the museum’s electro-mechanical machines. These machines will be limited to newer, multi-player machines and single-player machines that have full sized flippers. Players will be paired and play a best two-out-of-three on a single machine. The losing player will get a single strike against him/her. Once you receive 4 strikes, you are eliminated from the tournament. Competition starts at noon.
The side tournament will work the same way, but it will be limited to older, single player EMs that have smaller flippers. This tournament will start at 2PM.
Project Pinball is a charity organization that donates, repairs, and maintains pinball machines that are placed in children’s hospitals. For more information, visit: http://www.projectpinball.org/what-we-do-to-help/
