Announcement | May 4, 2017
The playoffs for Season 14 will feature 20 teams in three separate divisions competing for three separate trophies. The two Monday night divisions, the Upper Playfield and Left Flipper, will include the top 6 teams, while the Tuesday night Right Flipper competition will consist of the top 8 teams. All of the playoffs will be handled as a seeded, single elimination bracket tournament. The breakdown, and path to the championships are as follows:
Round 1 of each bracket will take place at the home bar of the higher seeded team. Rounds 2 and 3 will be played at a neutral venue, as it is defined in item V. C. of the rules. Neutral venues will be randomly drawn from a pool of available bars that feature at least 3 well working machines. Each match must consist of at least 3 machines not found in either team’s home bar, so if a random draw does not generate a qualifying bar, the venue will be re-drawn. The following is a list of bars which are currently in the pool of neutral venues. Note, however, that this list is subject to change if unfavorable reports come in concerning the conditions of the machines.
All of the playoff match results will be posted on this season’s League Scores & Schedules page.
