Season 25 Playoff Breakdown

Season 25 regular season matches end the week of November 20th. With Thanksgiving in mind, the following week will be a bye and the playoffs will start December 4th and 5th. Both the Monday and Tuesday night Divisions will split in two, based on final standings, and each of the playoff Divisions will compete for separate trophies. The top 6 teams from the Left Flipper and Right Flipper Divisions will compete in the Left Orbit and Right Orbit Playoff Divisions, respectively. Teams 7 – 12 will compete in the Left In-Lane and Right In-Lane Playoff Divisions. The teams that finish 13th and 14th in each division will not qualify for the playoffs.
As usual, the format of the playoffs is a single-elimination seeded bracket tournament. The top 2 teams in each Playoff Division will have a first round bye, while 3 will play 6, and 4 will play 5. Subsequent rounds will be depend on results and the predetermined path of each seed. The playoffs will take 3 weeks culminating in the championship matches on December 18th and 19th.
All rosters will be frozen for the playoffs, meaning that changes cannot be made to team rosters after the final regular season matches. Also, please remember that only those players who participated in at least one Regular Season match are allowed to participate in the playoffs.
The End of Season/Holiday party will take place on Thursday, December 21st at Solid State. At this event we will hand out the trophies and give prizes to the top two finishing teams in each Playoff Division.
