Rule Update | September 6, 2014
The following are slight rule changes/clarifications effective Fall 2014:
Doubles games that take place on single-player machines should be played one player at a time, alternating home and away. Those played on 2-player machines should be played 2 players at a time, one from the home team and one from away. Scores should be tallied as usual after all of the games are finished.
Players should take turns playing out their entire game when playing Singles matches on 1-player machines. As usual, the player with the highest score wins.
Under certain circumstances, individuals may play on more than one team during a single season. As individuals playing on more than one team take roster spots otherwise open to those not yet in the league, all such circumstances require league approval. When approved, the individual must play on two teams that meet on different evenings. Also, the player must be a Starter on his/her primary team, and a Reserve on his/her secondary team. In the event that both the player’s teams compete in the playoffs during the same evening, then that player may only participate in his/her primary team’s match. Finally, no team may have more than a single dual-team player on its roster at any given time.
